Happy Hot Tub Business Owners #3

Gîte La Graffeuille, Montgibaud, 19210, Limousin

When we started our Hot Tub business earlier this year, we thought we might have one or two enquiries from gite owners. Advertising a hot tub as an onsite amenity is definitely a good selling point in our opinion. Unsurprisingly, astute gite business owners have the same idea, especially those that are open all year round, like Richard and Karen Banks at Gîte La Graffeuille. Unless you have a heated or indoor pool, once the days become cooler the pool is out of action. However, with a hot tub it can be used all year round. Cool plunge pool in the summer, and a toasty, warm tub for relaxation the rest of the year. And that's the situation at La Graffeuille in the beautiful Limousin region.

Come rain or shine

Karen recently told us, "We had one couple who used the tub every night in the summer after putting the kids to bed. They were here for a week and even used the tub in the rain! We've been using the tub ourselves the last few nights, as we have no guests in the gite. And the stars have been wonderful".

We have to agree. Lately in France we have been having lots of bright, cool autumn days, which have led to cloudless, star-filled nights. When you step into a warm, gently-bubbling hot tub, you can just lie back, forget about the stressful day you have had, and gaze at the stars.

Family attractions

This pretty gite is less than an hour's drive from Hot Tubs In France and really easy to find. It's a few minutes away from the main A20 route, mid-way between Limoges and Brive-La-Gaillard. So in the unlikely event that guests get fed up with lounging by the pool, or chilling in the hot tub, these two cities are under an hour away. There are lots of family attractions, which is another reason why this area is so popular with visitors. Limoges has a zoo and aquarium, and Brive-La-Gaillard has a waterpark. Other activities nearby include canoeing, cycling, and hiking. There's also water-skiing in Meuzac, just 3 kms away, where all the top French skiers train. And for the gourmets, Montgibaud boasts its own Michelin-starred restaurant, Le Tilleul de Sully, which is well worth a visit.

Gite accommodation

The two-bedroomed gîte is completely separate and securely fenced off from the owners' house and sits in approximately half an acre of garden. Newly renovated, this well-furnished, comfortable gite can accommodate up to 5 people. The swimming pool, hot tub, BBQ, and garden are for the exclusive use of gite guests. For added peace of mind, the pool is fitted with a 24 hour alarm, so you don't need to worry as much if you have toddlers, young children, or non-swimmers. Adults can relax on the swing under the trees, or play badminton and boules on the lawn. Or just chill out on the sun-loungers by the pool while the kids tire themselves out in the pool.

Whatever you want from a family holiday, we think you will find it here at Gîte La Graffeuille. And it's open all year round too, so if you prefer less sun and still have lots of activities, this is the place to come. Check out the website for more details.
