Area of outstanding natural beauty
First one in our Hot Tub Business Owner series, and coincidentally, one of our first hot tub customers in France. 'Le Ranch Camping' is situated in the foothills of the Monédières Massif, and is perfectly placed for guests to explore. The Corrèze and the 'Millevaches Parc Naturel', a region renowned for its outstanding natural beauty - and very popular with hikers - are both within easy reach of this family-friendly campsite. When we were setting up their new hot tubs we were constantly being distracted by our beautiful surroundings. It's easy to see why this area is so popular with tourists. Le Ranch campsite is just so peaceful, even when it's busy, because each camping pitch and luxury glamping tent has been designed to give guests lots of personal space.
Glamping, camping and your own private hot tub
The campsite has two camping, caravanning or motorhome pitches with an electric supply. They also have four unique luxury glamping tents. The two safari tents are comfortable and stylish, and can sleep up to five people. They're ideal for families, a group of friends, or for couples who just want to get away from it all. Both of the safari tents have their own private hot tub - perfect for cooling down in the summer, or for a romantic evening sharing a bottle of champagne, whilst watching the sunset.
Le Ranch Camping is run by husband and wife team Hayley and Mike Gibbon. Hayley told us why the campsite is so popular. "Guests come here to have a back-to-nature experience, but with comfort and clean facilities. It's a massive plus in the current situation that we have space and are small, but friendly - some guests have likened it to a little family feel.
Also, the area has tourist facilities, but is a less crowded than other tourist locations, so it's much more appealing".
Future plans
Our Burford Deluxe hot tubs have also proved to be very popular. Booking-wise the safari tents with the hot tubs get booked first, and this year they were booked up for the whole summer. In the very hot periods they are used during the day as plunge pools to cool off in. Even though there's no swimming pool, guests prefer the hot tubs because of the exclusive use for each tent. And they are included in the rental price, so there's no extra charge. They have proved so popular that they're now considering adding them to the other glamping tents - the yurt and Stargazer.

"Safe to say, one of the most beautiful campsites we have ever been. Very mellow and peaceful. The campsite places are very spacious and private. We slept in the Safari tent 2. The tent and the decoration were great. The tent was complete and had a hot tub! Sitting in the tub under the stars with a glass of red wine...can't get any better than that! The bathrooms and toilets are very clean. Small shop with some essentials. Most mornings fresh bread delivered to your tent after ordering the day before. Hayley and Mike are very lovely people. You can see the passion they have put in to this place and they should be very proud of it! We definitely will be back to this place :) - Date Submitted: 20 Sep 2020"
