Happy Hot Tub Business Owners - Revisited
Cast your minds back to 2020 and the series of blogs we published on Hot Tub Business Owners. Number 4 of the series was La Libellule Gites in the Dordogne. Carole and George had recently returned to live permanently in France after being resident in the UK for other 20 years. They were in the process of setting up their gite business and recognised the extra earning potential they could have if their rest and relaxation programme included a fabulous Burford Deluxe hot tub.
Happy guests are returning guests
Since our original article in November 2020 Carole and George have been keeping themselves busy, and they have now completed the work on their second gite, La Petite Maison Papillon, and had a new pool installed. And their guests could not be happier! They constantly receive 5 star reviews from their AirBnB listing, and one very happy family also gave them a very unusual but fantastic review in the visitors' book - including a sketch of them all enjoying the luxurious on site facilities - the Burford Deluxe hot tub!
A Day in Dordogne
We always keep in touch with our happy hot tub owners and when I asked if anyone was interested in hosting a Hot Tubs On Tour 2022 event, Carole came straight back to me with a resounding Yes! Now everything is finalised, I can share the details: the date - Saturday 2nd April 2022 - and the incredible location - La Libellule Gites, Saint Vincent Jalmoutiers 24410 in the Dordogne.
We are really looking forward to seeing what they have done to the place, and although early April might still be a bit on the cool side, I think I'll take my swimming costume in case there's an opportunity to dip a toe in the water of the new pool.
We visited George and Carole’s house as an extended family of four adults and three kids (age 2, 3 and 6). We had an absolutely brilliant time; the house is lovely, the pool is just the right size and has lots of inflatables / accessories that the kids loved, the new wood-fired hot tub is great, and the cooking facilities (BBQ etc) are first-rate. What's happening on the day
So come along to La Libellule on the 2nd April and chat with me and Tim. And if you're a gite and holiday accommodation business owner, why not have a chat with Carole and George and find out Carole says that having a hot tub is most definitely a USP? (That's a unique selling point for those of us who are not familiar with marketing terms).
Hot Tubs In France have got a bit of a bonus for you too. Because Spring is in the air and the longer, brighter days has put a spring in our step, we are giving away 'Supreme' wooden steps (worth 486,00€) absolutely free with the first hot tub order taken on the day! It doesn't have to be an 'on the dot' time but please let us know whether you will be coming morning or afternoon. It's to your advantage too because then you are guaranteed our undivided attention and a glass of beer, fizz or a soft drink while we chat about the benefits of owning a hot tub - from a personal and business perspective.
